BRES executives have core business experience in the acquisition, development, ownership and sales of both commercial and residential real estate. They consulted for major Wall Street institutions (Morgan Stanley) in the 1990’s to purchase bulk real estate assets from The Resolution Trust Corporation. They currently are active in the evaluation, management and disposition of bank-owned assets in the Washington metropolitan region, and have a board range of bank clients.

William Montague Tyler - Chief Executive Officer
Bill Tyler has worked over 25 years exclusively in the real estate development and construction industry. He has broad experience in residential and commercial land development and as a principal has worked with land owners, homebuilders and financial institutions to create successful and profitable developments. Mr. Tyler produces creative results in difficult acquisition, disposition, and existing development environments. His experience also includes the acquisition, financing and development of municipal owned sites through public/private partnerships (P3) developing mixed-use projects through the use of private equity and T-21 grants. As an experienced Class A General Contractor with over 100 projects he relishes the unique opportunities and challenges of both commercial and residential client based management. A native of Loudoun County, Mr. Tyler has a vast knowledge of local and regional markets as well as significant relationships within the regional development, engineering and banking community. His clients and partners have included Morgan Stanley, The Fried Companies, Elm Street Development, and Trimark Corporation. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a B.A. in English and a second generation developer.
